Revlon Tutti Fruitti Colorburst Lip Butter Review

beautyvips:

Revlon’s Colorburst Lip Butters are probably the most popular lipstick release of the last few years. Everyone has one, or has at least read numerous reviews. I’ve previously reviewed Cherry Tart and Candy Apple, this review is for Tutti Frutti, the long coral/orange shade out of the twenty color range. Revlon claims that these sheer, moisturizing lipsticks contain beneficial ingredients like coconut, mango, and shea butters. Revlon says that the “gel formula provides supercharged hydration and glides on lips buttery smooth.”  The Lip Butter formula is supposedly so moisturizing that 94% of women say “softer, smoother, instantly hydrated lips.” I bought my Tutti Frutti Lip Butter at Ulta for around $6.Click through for the full review.

Everyday makeup tutorial using drugstore products.

I have a NYX Slim Eye Pencil in White that I use for my waterline. It’s thinner so you don’t have to pull on your lower lashline to apply.

beauty tip number seventy-eight

Avoid tugging at skin by using a foundation or stipple brush when applying foundation. Or, pat foundation on with your fingers, then use a buffing brush to blend. Years of pulling at your face when applying lotions and foundation can lead to sagging skin.

beautyninetofive:

We all know about the dangers the sun’s powerful rays imposes on our skin, which is why when it comes to building a gorgeous golden glow, faux is the way to go. A little bronzer can be the quickest, easiest way to give your winter white skin a bit of warm colour – provided you do it right. So…

5 Makeup Mistakes to Avoid at Work: Guest Blogger

birchbox:

Let’s face it: We all need career advice at some point. That’s why Megan Broussard, a contributor to The Daily Muse and Glass Heel, created ProfessionGal, a blog geared toward working women. This week, we’re lucky to have Megan sharing her best tips for success in the workplace.

1. Mismatched Foundation

One thing you should always keep in mind: Your face and neck should be the same color. To ensure that your foundation matches your natural skin color, try smoothing it out on your jawline first, not your hand. Also, examine the accuracy of color in various lighting inside your house and out. This can make a huge difference and you could be surprised by how your go-to foundation looks in natural light.

2. Full-On Smoky Eye

Wearing layers of charcoal from lashline to brow can be a dangerous office look, particularly because dark colors surrounding your eyes can make you appear tired. If you want to look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on Monday morning, try a one-shade lid, like the basic colors included in Urban Decay’s Naked Palette.
